| Hey there stranger, After the meeting tonight wanna hang out for a little while? I know you've been stressed and haven't been feeling well lately and I'm worried about you. Plus, I just miss talking to you. I miss our late night chats over ice cream.
But, it's up to you. If you're not feeling well you should get some rest. Just...think about it.

| Well, things have certainly gotten into swing around here. I've met a lot of the students, though there are more that I still haven't met. They seem to be taking things pretty well though, and getting all setteled in from what I can tell. That's good. I always worry about them the first few weeks. It can be hard adjusting to be being here. I should know, right? And there weren't as many of us then as there are now. Sometimes I miss those days. *sigh* Things were so much simpler then.
I also miss talking to Hank, Scott, Logan, and Remy. I haven't seen any of them around much. Scott and I had dinner and that was nice. But, I miss just sitting and talking to him. He's gotten so busy lately, and I'm worried about him. Hank just hides in the medlabs, so I guess if I want to see him I should head down there. Logan, I don't know where he is and Remy is too busy flirting with the girls I think. I kinda miss him flirting with me. :) Heck...I miss anyone flirting with me. It's been so long. God, that sounds aweful.
Maybe after our team meeting tonight Scott and I can just hang out for a while. That would be nice. I really miss him. | comments: Leave a comment |
| Ian and Jane,
Hello. We haven't met yet, but I'm Jean Grey. You can call me Miss Grey, Professor Grey, or Jean if you want. I don't mind. Anyway, Professor Summers has asked me to talk to you about your powers. He seems to think that I might be able to help.
I'll do whatever I can. My door is always open, so if you feel like stopping by, please do and we'll have a chat. I look forward to meeting with you both.

| Well, I must say that things have certainly gotten into swing around here. It's always so exciting to start a new year, with new students. You never know whose going turn up or what is going to happen. That can be good and bad, of course.
Poor Scott is stressing like nothing else. He always does. I wish he would take things easier sometimes. All that stress is going to give him a heart attack before he's thirty, and I worry about him.
I don't know how the Professor does it either. First there was us, and lord knows we were never easy to deal with. Now there's a whole new generation of kids to deal with, and I'm just amazed that he can handel it all sometimes.
The kids seem to be setteling in and adjusting well from what I can tell though, and that's good. I always worry the first week about how they are going to deal. If they can make friends right away, things aren't so bad. But, if they don't and start to get homesick, that's when things can go wrong. Of course, that's why we're here. Help them deal with that.
I also hope that my annual start of the year dinner will make them feel like they are at home. A home cooked meal can make anyone feel better about a situation and hopefully they'll feel that way once they taste my turkey and mashed potatoes. Science and cooking...my two strong points. Which reminds me...I have a Biology quiz that needs cooking up too. | comments: Leave a comment |
| Since everyone eles is doing introductions, I suppose it's only fitting that I should do mine. For those of you who may not know me, I'm Jean Grey. You can call me Miss Grey, Jean...whatever. I'm pretty open to anything.
I'll be one of your professors, and I'm here to help with anything that might arise. Be it personal or school related. Don't hesitate to ask anything. There are no stupid questions.
I'm so pleased that all of you are here. I think it's going to be a great year and I look forward to seeing all of you in class. | comments: Leave a comment |
